LIVING RELIC Fern and Ammonite hoodie

from $56.00

FERN AND AMMONITE HOODIE

Deep in the chasms of time the coiled and interdigitated whorls of ammonites that navigated the ancient oceans like living spaceships recorded in their sacred interlocking geometries a model for our spiraling universe and it's cyclical but ever-shifting permutations. Their forms and patterns are echoed in countless other forms in nature spanning time and space. This hoodie features a living relic from the Late Jurassic, where the shells of Euaspidoceras were deposited in coastal sediments, washed up on shores, and eroded out of deposits uplifted by increasing tectonic activity of the age. In the same period of time tree ferns from the order Cyatheales were diversifying, and expressing an echo of similar spiral geometry in their coiled emergent fronds.

My hope is that wearing this hoodie expresses that connection to the deeply patterned history and structure of our universe, and your purchase of this symbol help support my commitment to continue to explore living realms across time and space.
