About Living Relic

Brian Engh and Menefee Mural at Western Science Center in Hemet CA

Hi, I’m Brian Engh, lead artist and founder of Living Relic Productions.

Living Relic has been evolving over the course of the last 10 years as my efforts in natural history art have steadily grown with each new project. In an effort to always improve the quality of art and deepen its basis in science I have worked in close collaboration with teams of artists and scientists, and have successfully lead the design and creation of murals, animations, live action video shoots, puppets and life-sized sculptures for museum exhibits. I have also created concept art, animation, and visual effects for film and television, as well as illustrations for scientific research papers, magazines, and books.

With all my projects I emphasize bringing people from diverse skill sets and disciplines together to focus our collective energy to tell powerful and compelling stories with the goal of helping our audiences’ understand and appreciate their connection with natural history.
