This section depicts the transition from the Kayenta Formation (dominated by floodplain and river deposits) to the Navajo Sandstone (dominated by sand dune deposition). Each of the environmental details, and animal behaviors are based on tracks, plant fossils, teeth and bones discovered in southwest Utah by Andrew Milner and his team at the SGDS.
