Kayenta Timeline 2: Silty Facies - Enhanced Matte Paper Poster

$27.00
This is the second major section in the Kayenta Timeline Mural I designed and painted for the Saint George Dinosaur Discovery Site. This section depicts the middle phase of deposition called the Silty Facies where river and floodplain deposit record a fluctuating climate which likely became more arid over several million years of depositional time. Each of the environmental details, and animal behaviors are based on tracks, plant fossils, teeth and bones discovered in southwest Utah by Andrew Milner and his team at the SGDS. The running Dilophosaurus is based on a track site featuring a theropod trackway with strides over 1.5m apart. The swimming Scutellosaurs are based on a tracksite just down section featuring hundreds of tracks of swimming early Jurassic ornthisician dinosaurs.

• Paper thickness: 10.3 mil
• Paper weight: 189 g/m²
• Opacity: 94%
• ISO brightness: 104%
• Paper is sourced from Japan
